ARTISTIC VISION
What excites this company is the connection and interaction between seemingly disparate elements. "What’s at hand" not only refers to existing sites within our city’s changing landscape, but also to human and material resources, as well as salient political, cultural, historical and contemporary issues we encounter and react to each day. Whether a new approach to a classic text or in collaboration on new works, we seek out environments where these various components can resonate as one cohesive event, an encounter designed to arouse and amend. The goal of Bricolage is to connect "what’s at hand", encourage artists to risk their creative necks together and to provide the audience a ‘full-blooded’ theatrical experience.
